Title: Tachometer wont go above 2k rpm
Post by: hellamatrix on 19 September 2015, 06:54:56 pm
Hi! I am facing a issue with my FZ6-N S2 where the tachometer does not run above 2k rpm. However, it seems to be able to detect the correct rpm as long as it is below 2k. Is it a wiring issue or is the entire speedometer faulty?

I've got the FZ6-SA (04-06 model) and on that when I cycle through the odometer/ trip 1/ trip 1 settings, there's also one that gives a numerical value for engine RPM.

Does yours have something similar which might help?

Hi Grahamm,

My FZ (07-09) model does not have the setting that will indicate the engine RPM sadly.
