Needed 2002 and 2003 ignition has more on 02 need to know why

Extra wires for lights on 2001 & 2002 models. Earlier switch (with more wires) should work on later bike. Other way round trickier. What are you trying to do?

Replacing a complete lock set on a 2002 bike with a set from an 03, 03 ignition has 2 wires less than the 02 just need to know what there for and colours. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams of the 02 and the 03 model? Failing that it will be a case of swapping the barrels over.

swap the barrels over ykims.
one of the few non interchangeable parts on a fazer :'(
