What markings should a U.K. bike (02 Foxeye) have on it's headlights, cannot work out an easy way to be sure what is on my bike!
-
GB light has code: 5LV843101000
EU one has code: 5LV843100000

Are these numbers part numbers? Or are they marked on the lights themselves? Thanks!

Those are the part numbers. I meant the check my old headlight before I left this morning but forgot. I'll try and remember when I get home tonight

Just noticed you have a foxeye and mine's a boxeye so any numbers not going to help you.

Is there a point behind all this?
-
To check if it's UK or European spec dip pattern?
-
I just checked on the AJ Sutton site, and if you look for a headlight unit it shows what Arfa says is the European part number?
-
A J Sutton site has both part numbers on it. On with a headlight picture thumbnail and the other with a A J Sutton logo thumbnail but the description doesn't say which is UK

Park the bike facing a white wall in the dark, with dims on check the light pattern. See below
Beam rises to the left UK spec (RHD)
Beam rises to the Right EU spec (LHD)

I was gonna say that but it seemed too obvious. :lol
The other way is sit on the brow of a hill and see how many cars swear at you or have an accident on the other side of the road because you're blinding them with Euro lights.
If they remain quiet you have UK ones. :)

I'm great at stating the obvious :lol

But hard to see but here's a pic of one of the ones on my 2003
