Post by: ting on 24 June 2015, 08:42:37 pm
looking to get new chain and sprockets for fazer 1000 gen 1, but not sure what to look for as there are so many to choose from and im sure ,there are brands to leave alone at all costs so what would be the best type of chain and sprockets to purchase

IMO D.I.D or Tsubaki are the chains to go.

This one seems very good price for X ring D.I.D chain kit:

OE spec is DID ZVM

It will be around 170 quid alone for the chain, plus sprockets.

For the thou I'd go for the higher spec chain every time.
