Title: R6 shock mod just for 1000cc fazer only?

As the title says, is the R6 2008/9 rear shock mod just for the bigger cc fazer? Or can it be done on a 1998 fazer 6? Thanks

Yes, the R6 shock can be made to fit the 1998 Fazer 600, but it requires additional modifications.
I usually sell them on here, PM me if you're considering one

I can thoroughly recommend Mr Kebab's R6 shock absorbers. I purchased one and was very very happy with both the shock and the improvement in handling it made to my bike. And you dont have to be an engineer to do the mod yourself. Go for it  :)
