Title: oil change done.. with added fail!
Post by: Paulfzs on 17 June 2015, 05:59:50 pm
so i bought some REAL oil for my bike..
drained old oil out let it drain for about 10 mins, sump bolt back in chucked the 1 litre bottle in let it sit for a few minutes then drained that out too to remove more of the old oil then filled it up.

Job done!  now to wheel bike back into its space...

Who knew an rxs 100's indicators are the same height as a fazer managed to hit the indicator of my rxs which is made super strong steel coated with strong steel coated with titanium... my indicator lost and got shoved into the fairing cracking around the indicator mount on nose cone :(

Fair retribution for putting that one litre of oil in and then draining it away  :eek . You waster  :( .
Unless you go on to use it for the chain or something, in which case hard luck with the winker mate ;) .

i kept the oil to a: use in rxs or b: chain oiler.

yeah the rxs uses real metal, the bracket is bent where it had been dropped before, indicator is fine though!
