Title: Do the R1 4XV exhaust downpipes fit the Gen 1 Fazer 1000?

You would be better off asking someone like Devilsyam or Mike, but the Gen 1 engine is only based on the R1. The cylinder head is different, the clutch cover is different etc.

The downpipes won't fit but early r1 exup valves will slip straight in !
That's what I did, bought a set of early r1 headers purely for the valve.
There more readily available than fazer headers & cheaper !!
