This is worth a bike ride in June, on the airfield ,lots of planes, a food festival too, I have been before and it's brilliant.
Lots of local cooked food to,pork  stuffing rolls, special sausages,dream Lamb burgers,loads to scoff on

This looks spot on - presumably they don't close the airfield for the weekend ? (if it's open over the weekend I might fly in with Liz rather than ride).

Yes indeedee - the airfield is open but it will be PPR  ;)

Good stuff then. I'll give them a call and arrange to fly in. Might have a couple of other choppers come along - I've passed the info to quite a few other heli pilots. Depending on who comes, we could have my Schweizer, a couple of Cabri G2's or R22's and possibly a R44 and/or a Jet Ranger.


Here's hoping we get good skies ! If not, we'll have to come on the bikes.  :)

 :lol Sort of local - ride over from Albrighton. Bridgenorth to Ludlow Rd is definitely Fazer territory  ;) . I'm Chief Engineer for the Fixed Wing maintenance dept.
So if you see a red Gen 1 around, it maybe me  :lol

Ah I see, how long you been working their ?

and yes the road to Bridgenorth is twisty and tight,some good ones around their,,the small A roads and B roads too

On the Saturday afternoon, the BBMF Dakota will be performing a flypast at around 2:30pm and there will other flying displays including a P51 Mustang replica, plus of course FOOOD  :b :b
