Title: FZ1 Gen 2 Radiator Fan kick in

Morning Foccers,

Went to view an FZ1 2009 Gen 2 yesterday... but... the radiator fan didn't kick in like it does on my FZS 1000 Gen 1 after a minute... I waited until the temperature was upto 100deg and I chickened out waiting any longer... Do the Gen 2's kick in on tick over after a minute like the Gen 1's? if not what temperature does the fan normally kick in at? Cheers  :smokin

It should kick in around a 100. Mine does only ever had it come on a couple of times in traffic

Cuts in at 100, cuts off again at 92/93.

Dont worry about it ,it will come on when it's hot,,not when you start it,,mine hardly ever comes on,,has to be very hot,stationary before it comes on.

It doesnt do the same self test as the gen1 on start up. Thought it was a good idea personally at least you know its working before you really need it.
