Time for some new gloves so as the rest of my leathers are Alpinestars i might as well go for the gloves too, whats the sizing like with the gloves? I normally wear large so do i need to go up a size or down a size?

I am a med in everything (perfect if you will) so I brought a pair of Med AS GP pro but they were too tight and swapped them for a pair of size L which fit like ----- er --- a glove, truth is I think I could of even gone for a XL and they would not be too big, just "airy" which after all is what I want in a summer glove, happy with my size L though

Try them on - completely dependent on your hands.
I'm a medium in gloves, have been in about 5 makes. Initially thought my AP in a medium were a bit on the tight side, but now they've broken in they fit like a second leather skin!

My SP8,s were a little snug on the first two rides with them but are spot on now
I take XL and got XL on the SP8 too

You do if you wear literally anything made of leather (gloves, boots, actual leathers)- all needs to be worn to make the leather softer and pliable!

All of my gear is leather, I have had plenty of stuff before that I convinced myself would "break in" yes it has molded to my shape but it is still too small. Buy the correct size and it will not need to stretch to fit you. Leather already is soft and pliable enough.

That's the moulding I'm talking about! My current gloves (well actually the last three pairs now) have all been Alpinestars 365 GTx - basically leather race gloves with a gore tex liner. Every pair I've had have fitted - but have been incredibly stiff to start with. Give it a few weeks of wearing and i can move all my fingers and hands around as though I'm not wearing gloves. It's pretty much the same thing with all the leathers I've ever worn too - although part of that is the armour indenting to your shape around your joints.
