Title: Data tool gear indicator on 2001 600

Hi guys.
I followed Keratos write up but there was an issue when it came to wiring. My colours were different.. So according to a Haynes wiring diagram my wires should be...
Engine speed/tacho yellow black
Speedometer blue yellow
Neutral light blue

Fairly convinced this is right as it shows 0 for neutral and 1  selecting 1st but it will not learn gears at all.
Can anyone please confirm my wire choice for this year bike?

Speedometer is white. The rest looks fine.
