Title: Gen 2 FZS1000S possibly for sale

Might be buying an MT-09 Tracer so my beloved Fazer will be up for sale. '04 plate 31K miles. All original (apart from a sports rack but I have the original grab rails).

Need a good deposit so generous offers appreciated.

MOT'ed 1 week ago. No advisories. Good to go for a summer of hedge blasting. Located in North Yorkshire (as are all the best roads).

Just a correction, you have a Gen1 (carb'd model), the Gen2 is the fuel injected model.

And very nice clean bike, worth I would have thought over 3k all day long.

How much did the dealer offer you part ex?


Sometimes its only a few hundred quid less than you could expect to get privately (but a lot less hassle) as dealers are normally £5-700 above private.


My last two bikes I pexed and got offered the same as the average advertised price in MCN



Don't forget its the the price to change that matters so shop around.

I got offered what I paid for it 2 years ago so I am well chuffed.

Brand new MT-09 Tracer on order for April.

Thanks for the messages and if it's no good the first thing I will buy is a Gen 1 FZ1000S.

I have to say though the test ride was awesome. Giddy as a kipper.

Had a long ride home afterwards to reflect on just what an awesome machine mine is. You can't ask for more (except ABS, Traction Control, riding modes, better handling, ...)
