Title: WSB Phillip Island
Post by: Billy Balthorpe on 23 February 2015, 10:45:40 pm

What a pair of races in the opening round!! Lets hope it carries on the same way. It looks like they've finally got the Ducati working well too, or has that got more to do with the rule changes, didn't the organisers use the Ducati software/ECU type thing as the standard across the board? Wasn't it something like, everyone has to use it but Ducati have obviously got more experience with it? Or did I just dream it?

Anyway, congrats to all the Brit riders, you did us proud lads!

Yes, great to see an all Brit podium and Leon back to his scrapping best.

Terrific races. I think the rule changes have finally got it right across the board. V twin, V4 and in line 4 all within 0.3s at the end of race 2.
Honda don't have much form there, Rea has never podiumed on it before. So expect them to be closer next time. Having Guintoli injured didn't help.
The new boys Vd Mark, Torres and Terol all performed well at some stage so they will be up there more I reckon.
A great shame Suzuki had an attack of the gremlins after Lowes' pre season form.

The 600 race was pretty good too.
