I have just replaced my old standard rear shock with an R6 unit supplied from Kebab19. It has been one of the easiest mods I have done, remember to fully clean and check over the suspension linkage, mind all the roller bearings, re grease and replace any worn bearings. I would say the entire job took no longer than 2 hours. All as I need now is more bend on my knee as I have had a full replacement joint, maybe this will save on a knee slider as I am reliably informed it is titanium. :rollin

I'm liking this a fair bit.
May I ask as to what model R6 the shock came from or does that not matter?
-
It is the RJ15 model, 2008+
-
does it have to be that model, or will the early model shocks fit ?
-
There's a thread not so very far down the page detailing what shock is required. Nothing pre 2005 will fit, that's for sure and unlikely that 2006-07 shock can fit easily.
... and not long now till I reveal my next FZS suspension mod :D

Is it for the front or rear? 600 or thou?
-
For the 600 ... front this time :)
-
Does this mean i should wait and see what it is before i dive into my 600 front end?
-
No, go ahead - it won't be a cheap mod.
But it will be one of the best ;)
-
I'm guessing USD forks :D If so, can't wait to see.
-
Haha all good then, i'm too stingy for expensive mods! :P
-
looks great! :)
What do you have in front end?
How does Fazer run with such beautifull shock?

Ummm... actually, no USDs this time round :eek
Perhaps I have underestimated the overwhelming desire for gold, blingy things attached to the front of bikes :lol

Kebab19 and other guys, please tell me if the shock on photos is just right unit. (http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/25/1f167e06b1341b976e1dfedd12ccda0e.jpg)(http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/25/25215a6cc02c1cc6016e2140ecf419ff.jpg)

I believe the two adjusters, Gold and blue, should be together. Look at the photo at the top of the page. But I'd also away the more knowledgeable to chime in.

Thanks, Nebuchernezzer.
