That's handy to know Paul, as I might be looking for somewhere to store mine for a few months next year, and Staffordshire could be a good halfway point for me. If it's properly secure, of course. Looks like that's for the individual 'garage', so quite roomy. I've seen some good storage units for rent advertised before, lock-ups or containers in a secure compound.

Good idea-we dont all have dry storage conditions. My own timber shed, although secure, suffers from dampness  due to lack of airflow, so Rhondda Red hibernates with me in the warmth of the house for November-March. Guess Im lucky dont have a SWMBO to say otherwise :lol

They're a good idea to keep off the street.

Don't forget you probably won't have valid insurance unless you tell them the storage location has changed though.

The storage site should have their own, but you never know what it covers so worth updating yours in case.

Would you have to drain the tank for that kind of storage, yet whenever people say they are laying up for the winter they talk about filling to the brim and then with some additive

Found this one, which is nearer to where I hope to be going. £37 per month seems to be about the going rate, and I may need it for up to 6 months. Possibly for two bikes.
