Most of you will probably know about this, but I figured it would be worthhile flinging a thread up for anyone who missed this change which is coming. It seems next in line for the paper cull after the tax disk, is the paper counterpart of the driving license:

one less thing to lose :thumbup

The important bit though, is that if you have an old paper licence (with no photocard at all), then this will become invalid next year. Dunno what date next year, but you'll need to get it replaced with a photo one at some point soon...
-
Nooooo, it doesnt affect the old original paper driving licence. They will only need replacing when your details change, address, name etc.

They've changed their mind then - they had announced that the old paper ones would have to be replaced. I know a couple of people that will be pleased :-)

They were always a bit of a pointless pita anyway! Good riddance to them.
-
Only the counterpart is being done away with. If you are one of the few with just an original paper licence, you're not affected.
The big thing now is you cannot see your points as easily.

That'll be available online more than likely.

Still on the old paper one as well!
Getting a little dog eared but I'm too tight to pay out for a new one :lol
