I always thought that the SP stood for Special Paint and related to the multi coloured 2000 2001 2002 and 2003 models :)
Michelin seem to think differently :eek

Mine's an SP 2000 but black.
What are we looking at, different tyre size?
-
Yes, Always thought the tyre sizes were the same across the 1998 to 2003 models regardless of model type, but michelin give different front tyre sizes for the Fzs600 and the Fzs600SP
-
News to me. The old howl of complaint is that weird 110 section front tyre. If the SP had a 120 nose, they're keeping quiet about it!
The Haynes Book of Lies makes no reference to a different size. Methinks Michelin fucked up.

I always thought the SP was just different paint too, but obviously not if Darrsi has a black SP. Anyone?????
-
Or was it the `S` that was just different paint?
