Because i'd really like to buy some short/cnc levers without spending a goddam fortune.
These (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271552216339?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) seem good, but compatibility is a concern, naturally.
I guess a reverse of the question is also valid: Would the lever mounts from an 04-10 FZ6 fit my 98 FZS600?
-
I asked recently. The answer is a resounding no, the levers are not a straight swap.
Not sure if you changed the mounts too, but then you lose all financial advantage.
-
Did you manage to find another option? Maybe one which doesn't cost a goddam fortune?

No, sorry. Never got past the research stage, as those were going to be for my project bike.

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but a quick search of the online Yamaha parts catalogue shows that the part numbers for the levers are near identical (just the model number being different).
Maybe posting in the Thou section would be a good idea.
Noggythenog had some cnc levers fitted to the Noggyfighter so will probably know where to get hold of them.
