I use nyloc nuts instead. Or wirelocking.

How do you fasten your brake discs on then? I would like to see the lock wiring on them, do you just drill a hole straight through the length of the bolt?
Also there are many different types of "thread lock", where I work we have 5 different ones depending on the metals used, how often it might be taken apart, heat, vibration etc and I am sure there are probably many other types out there.

disks on aircraft used to have the bolts drilled and wire locked. I guess the odd race bike may have that too.

Personally, i'm a fan of friction.
