Title: how easy is it to see the cam chain?

How much work is involved in seeing the camchain to check tension?


Can i just remove the silver cover on top by undoing the 8 allen bolts then see it or do i have to take loads off.

Yes if you take the cover off you'll see the top of the chain. You probably won't be able to take the cover off totally because there's not much room there without removing more stuff. You're not going to be able to tell much by looking at the top of the chain.
