Title: Braided lines

Hi can anyone suggest where I can get braided lines for my 2010 fazer 800 ABS thanks in advance

Prepare yourself for a big shock. There are 9 separate lines for the Fazer8 due to the ABS system. I asked my local dealer this and they said £300 or thereabouts, if I remember correctly. I cant remember the make of those replacements, it wasn't Yamaha.

It was these, £269.99, plus fitting of course.

Maybe there is something cheaper, but you still need the 9 separate lines.

You're probably better off just to change the fluid every couple of years unless you plan to race it! With abs fitted all that braided hoses will do is activate the system a fraction earlier, not nessesarily improve the braking that much.

We get 25% off at Hel now though, so it would be cheaper. Still a fair old bit more than normal though!
