Title: End Can
Post by: red imp on 12 August 2014, 08:30:13 pm
Hi All
I am looking for an after market end can for my 10 reg fazer fz1s, I really can not afford an Akropovic so I was wondering if anyone has any good advice? I am currently looking at an entry level Leo Vince sbk.

Regards
Ian

Blue Flame - stainless oval twin spout (good looking to my eyes).

About £170 max with link pipe; Road Legal and stamped - but 4 baffle/blank options giving varying depth and volume of exhaust note (and power? - not sure as I'm not really interested).

The don't seem really popular, but I've got them 3 bikes now and the one on my Aprilia RSV 1000 has been on for around 9 years and is still going strong.

All good IMHO and hard to beat for value.

Scorpion cans offer a slight perf increase and is what my local bike shop recommended for Yamaha's, there is one on ebay. I would call the guy and haggle on price as he is on a trip with that price and the postage is 3x what it needs to be.

I had a BF on my FZS and didnt like the sound so when an acro came up cheap I grabbed it. Found an Acro going cheap on ebay, the R1 link pipe looks similar to an fzs one, but you may need to get an fzs link pipe for it though.

I've got a scorpion can with link pipe like the ebay one. Mine is oval type.
No dents, may be some tiny scratches.
£75 if you come and collect it.
Comes with all clamps.

I just had a  leo vince sbk fitted , it looks cool but is really close to the swing arm and actually touches the swing arm when parked up on side stand.  I am sure it will be ok. unless anyone knows how i can get it further away from the swing arm  .

It shouldn't touch the swing arm.

To realign you normally just rotate the link pipe slightly so the angle changes and then retighten the mount.

you should be able to rotate the link pipe to give you more room
