How do you keep it in good condition? Lisa bought a shoei nxr on the weekend but its the pink and matt black one which I have already left a slight mark on just by picking it up, must of had some slight grease on my hand.
Want to keep it tip top as it weren't cheap so just thought I'd start by asking u lot

swissvax opaquerange was specially designed to be used on matt paint. pre-cleaner opaque will take away oily marks and what not. they do an opaque wax as well which you can use if you want, but be warned, swissvax cleaning stuff aint cheap!

i've got a shark matt black lid they do show up all the little marks i give it a wipe over with the boot polish rag but it doesn't stay clean for long

I use mucoff helmet and visor cleaner.
Mines blue and white so doesn't show up to bad, but there marks.

I got a Shoei xr1000 in pearl satin grey......and in the beginning I thought it was a mistake but it says in the instructions to use warm soapy water

Ive got a matt black HJC. All Ive ever done is wipe it over with a piece of wet kitchen roll.

slightly off topic but I've the same issues with matt paint in the house......touch a wall and your left with a mark.......never again
you've been warned...........never let yer Mrs buy matt paint coz she'll have yer up the wall with a brush (pardon the pun) ;)

Yep, same here. You cant just touch up any marks with a brush as it leaves a kind of `halo` mark around it. Apparently its because of legislation as to what they can and cant put in paint these days. Did anyone ever really come to harm from licking a wall?? :rolleyes
