Anyone bought tyres from this lot? Prices seem good.

I've not used oponeo myself, although someone was asking about motorcycle tyre on line suppliers on another forum I use and one of the other posters swears by them. I try and use www.fwr.co.uk (http://www.fwr.co.uk) who I find to be good and have a good customer service. Don't know how they compare price wise.#

#OK I've just checked, if you don't mind waiting 3-4 days oponeo are a fair bit cheaper. Express delivery - about the same.

Not heard of them before, but £76 delivered for a front T30, and £106 for a rear really is very good.  :)

Crikey, their warehouse is only about 3 miles away from where i live........and they never even told me!

I used oponeo for my last 2 pairs, but not the pair I bought a couple of days ago. They come from Germany. No harm to the Gerry's, but keep the money in the UK if you can  :thumbup .

I got a pair of Metzeler Z6 Roadtech for £125 delivered (including a £30 rebate) from these guys bikespeeduk.com. Call them on
01506 811906
. They have 110 fronts (not on-line) and the guys are very helpful. I ordered them on the Wednesday at 3 o clock'sh and they were delivered on Friday morning.

Do you guys that buy online fit the tyres yourselves or get it done at a garage?

I take the wheel off and pop it up to my mechanics to fit, they normally charge me £10-£15 depending on what mood they're in, so it's still a big saving.

I had to get a T30 fitted in a shop last time on the quick due to a puncture and even with a small discount was still charged £160+.   :eek

Great tyre though, i'll be ordering a front off these people before my next MOT.

I get mine done for a donation to our North West air ambulance service. £10 for both F+R. Cheap and money goes to a good cause.

Ordered a rear PR4 a couple of days ago from them and it turned up today. My local garage will charge me a tenner to fit and balance it :)  Will run it in nicely next weekend on a run to Norfolk and back, 640 miles ish.

Just ordered a front BT023 from OPONEO.

If you don't mind a 4-5 day wait it was £69 delivered.

Or for guaranteed delivery within 2 days it was £82 all in.  :)

Shorrocks my local shop fitted (to a loose wheel) and supplied a Angel GT for £132 yesterday  :)
I just go armed with the best online price and they normally match it inc fitting there and then
Always worth trying your local independent
