Title: Some basic carb question
Post by: gregwillclark on 31 July 2014, 10:46:13 pm
All,

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but I have some question regarding the FZS600 carbs, mine have been stripped down and cleaned - I was wondering why 1 of the 3 jets is a blank i.e. no hole? According to (http://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/genuineparts/9796/11/yamaha%20fzs600%20fazer/carburetor?uID=0 (http://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/genuineparts/9796/11/yamaha%20fzs600%20fazer/carburetor?uID=0)) its item number 8, Jet Main (-0).

I can see the other two listed as Jet main (-115) and Jet Pilot (-12.5). Why is one blanked??

Also I can see a fourth jet listed, item 6, Jet Main (-130), what does this do?

Regards
Greg

ignore, can see  now its the air jet on the air intake of the carb.
