Title: WANTED- Fair to good condition FZS600 Engine 98-03

Hi there,

I am desperately looking for a fzs 600 engine 98-03 as my 2nd gear isn't holding anymore. It is too much to fix the gearbox so i am looking for an engine to replace it.

I dont trust the engines on ebay as the descriptions are very vague and they look like they have just been shoved on a shelf upside down.

I hope someone can help as i would like to get hold of a working engine very soon.

I heard that someone on this forum refurbishes fazer engines. I think it is MotherFoccer?

I appreciate any help and advice that can be given :)

I'm also desperately in need of a fzs 600 98-03 engine! My engine started to be difficult with holding in 2nd, then the whole gearbox went completely.
Typical timing on the way to my first day of my new job! and then the paycheck I was expecting the day after the bike went I didn't get due to the company I was working for went into liquidation :eek  So definitely on a bad luck streak at the minute! ha

I'm looking at the engines on Ebay also and have messaged a few of them and are still getting very little encouraging feedback!  :rolleyes  So definitely not wanting to go that way..

Was hoping that maybe If you do come across anything half decent that you decide to not go for, you could do a fellow fzs600 owner a favour and show?  :D 

I will definitely do the same in return!!

yep give mark (deefer a call) for bike engines, he knows what they have come out of, and services and repairs any that need it, 07887 854614

Hi all I have complete engines and gearboxes on the shelf a tested box with output shaft would be £150, A complete engine would be £350 (Inc Gaskets). Or if you bring me your engine I will strip and check over and put a new box in for £400 (that way you keep your original engine number) obviously if you want me to remove the engine it will be more.....
