Last time I checked in here, there was a mass genocide of 600s... (yep, that month 3 or 4 Fazers crashed) Hope all has been well since :b
Have not been on the forum for ages - have had no reason to as my little Fazer has been running like clockwork and after years of tinkering I'm now happy with how it's set-up (plus busy life gets in the way).
Had an awesome day at Brands Hatch recently and wanted to share a cool photo with you guys (I think it is anyway). Held it's own in the intermediate group and plenty of red faced sportsbike riders :lol

NICE......real nice!!! :)
I certainly won't be anywhere near that sort of angle when I go round there for the ride skills day on Monday!!
-
Looks nice --- do you have standard pegs, as your angle looks very steep yet the pegs are not down,
-
You'll love it HarryHornby, Brands Hatch is such a nice track, enjoy.
Yes, standard pegs.... believe me, the pegs did go down quite often! The rear ride height is slightly higher than standard though, courtesy of Kebab's R6 shock conversion and it's accompanying shorter dogbones :)

Great pics fella. Must have laughed your plums off showing up the Sports bike riders :lol

What the hell is that sticking out the back of your bike in the second picture

Givi Wingrack :lol

Probably the exhaust of a sports bike he collected when running up the inside on a corner.

Well done , a very nice picture.

Ace that, doesn't look much clearance left at all. Bet your tyres have wear all the way across after that?
-
You must have long legs :lol
-
Those of you who've met me will know that I'm barely 5'6''.... I always have to get my leathers special order and have a lowered seat :lol

All the way to the edge of the tyre, on the front and rear. PR3s are very good for a sports touring set

Very nice!
So they don't require you to tape up the headlights at trackdays anymore??
-
The thing Im not quite getting is that I have scraped my pegs a few times and the lean angle never felt like that, mayme cause yours is jacked up a bit.

He's hanging off a lot, less lean angle, easier for knee down.
-
Looks like his BUT CRACK is right in the middle of the seat to me (from here anyway)

I second that, I was fed up with you looking up my nostrils at the springmeet !!
Great photi pal.

This gives me hope!! Thanks! :D (5'7")

Perhaps it's hard to imagine the degree of lean when actually on the bike and we all lean further than we imagine
Fuzzy, you have a pm :)

Haha, yes key to it is hanging off as much as possible like a monkey (whether you get your knee down or not), otherwise the Fazer will start grinding. I'm also only 10 stone so have to hang off more than somebody heavier for the same effect. Knee down looks cool but it's not essential, I however find it helps me gauge how much lean angle I've got left before grinding the pegs.
And yep, shorts legs know no bounds :b

Doesn't seem it, maybe you only have to if your headlight's got glass lenses

That's it, I'm off out to cut doon ma seat.
Nope I can never find off the peg leathers that fit, so got a made to measure set of Scott Leathers (top quality and still much cheaper than a lot of the fashionable thin off the peg Italian stuff)
Never felt comfortable sticking ma knee oot. I'll shift ma ass a bit but dig both knees hard into the tank if I'm going quick. See loads of folks pawing the air with their knees and immaculate and unscraped knee sliders when I'm out on my bike, what are they doing?
Anyway well done. Now where's my Stanley knife.
