Ok fazer fans...ive been offered some fox eye clocks, I have a box eye....will they fit ?....I know about the reset button and clock but a bit unsure about the block connector..are they the same.....my socket measures 15.5 x 27.0 mm at widest point.id...with 2 rows of 10 pins....
-
I know nothing Red but my clocks will eventually be for sale with circa 15k on them.....only dropped once...when i actually dropped them on my patio whilst farting about...but they work fine.
-
I also asked that question when I was looking for another set as my odo is in kilometres not miles. As far as info went they should fit as block is the same up till 2003 I was told. cannot confirm it as I couldn't get any for the money I had. hope it helps.
-
cheers CHRISTO i`ll bear that in mind....thanks SAVVY, yes that does help :thumbup ...i have pictures of both now and they do look the same.....RED CERI has posted some pictures of a fox eye set in the gallery and my box eye ones are above...have a look and see what you think ;)
-
Sorry but not sure where you mean as per pics.
-
Hi savvy.my picturd of my clocks from my box eye are on this thread...you'll find red ceri's picture of the fox eye clocks in the media section...at the top of the home page......if you've not been in there before theres loads of piccies in there
-
Thanks for that, never seen those pics before. great.
They sure do look the same plug socket.
-
They measure the same, ive now bought the clocks and I should have them wed/thurs next week....bought from another helpfull foccer on here :thumbup......iam sure they will fit, will post the outcome and it will be another question answered ;)
-
what is the difference between the clocks?
-
If you look at the later ones the tacho' has the time clock in it, therefore you have 2 windows, one in the speedo' and other in the tacho'. In a nutshell.
-
IM hoping its all internal and uses the same loom....ie, all built into thd pcb....I still think it will be fine....fingers crossed ;)
-
Well ive learnt something tonight........boxeye and foxeye clocks are not straight swaps :\.....different size plug and extra connections on the boxeye...so, iam now armed with a bit more "fazer facts" but still need some clocks for my boxeye......can anyone help ?

Like this from the noggy shop
Ive just noticed a crack on the back.....presumably from when i dropped them ages ago......difficult to say how deep the crack is as it doesn't flex......perhaps some super glue to seal it up as a precaution for any water getting in.....or a new back when you find one.
