Title: Any hint and tips to polish up down pipes and link pipe?

Hi there :)


I'm looking into polishing up and tarting up my downpipes, although don't really know where to start and how to do it.


Would anyone be able to help me out on this if you've attempted this before ?

Im looking to do the same at the moment, ive found a good start was some rough pads my friend gave me and a large tube of autosol.....
 
ny friend bet me a fiver i couldnt use a tube on my bike.... i think he owes me more then that now.....
 
ive eventually had to move on to some very soft sandpaper since..... i'll probably get shouted at for that...... but its the only way to remove some of the stubborn marks and blemishes!
