Title: SEAT COVER
Post by: rocky1966 on 25 May 2014, 01:43:18 pm
HI, JUST BOUGHT A SEAT COVER FOR MY FAZER, OFF EBAY. NOT COME YET. WAS WONDERING HOW EASY IS IT TO REMOVE OLD ONE, AND PUT NEW ONE ON ?
A PROPER BY A PROFESSIONAL , WOULD COST ME £25 FITTED, WHICH I THINK IS QUITE A GOOD PRICE, BUT I LIKE DOING MY OWN REPAIRS ETC, HERE IS A LINK TO THE SEAT      http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131186308811?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131186308811?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649)

Personally, I'd get a pro to do it. You've spent the money buying it, the last thing you want to do is get it wrong, particularly if it's you first time reupholstering something. If it was fractionally off centre, or a little bit baggy, it would annoy the hell out if me.
Also, if the professional messes up, you should be covered in getting a replacement.

In my experience, it's great to do something yourself, but when you want it to look like a professional job, best get someone who does it every day to sort it.  :)

Bought the same one myself local professional wanted around 80 to fit so I did it myself wasn't that hard
You will need some sort of  heavy duty stapler and a hair dryer
I started in the middle around the bottom of the fazer logo then using the hair dryer to stretch into place work your way out don't be afraid it's not that hard
