Title: Rear shock
Post by: nsr500v4 on 17 May 2014, 12:19:34 pm
Can anyone accurately measure the width of the top of the standard shock so i can get washers made of before fitting the BMW S1000 shock please?

34.92mm to 35.02mm depending upon which angle i measure across the faces of the bush. it's probably worn unevenly in use.

i should be able to make up a couple of sets in work next week if you dont mind waiting bludclot? I wont charge you anything, wont cost me much to pop a pair in an envelope.

Anyone got any idea what the od of the washer should be roughly? just dont want them to have too-big a diameter obviously, and im too lazy to strip out my shock to measure it :lol
