Title: Bottom of Tank.

Hi, I took my tank off today and while I was doing it petrol started to piss out of one of two little metal tube things about 10mm in length that sit together near the fuel tap. It stopped after about 30 seconds. What are these? I have (had) almost a full tank of juice. Thanks.

One is a breather and one is a drain. The drain comes into play if you spill some fuel round the filler hole under the flap. You probably got some fuel in the breather hose when you tilted the tank.

Thanks Limax. I grabbed the nearest container which happened to be the mutt's water bowl  :lol
