Jesus - I know Escort shells go for a bit but that's just taking the piss. Not worth a wank in my book.

it wont be the shell - they will be bidding for the VIN's and the V5 to put on another shell likely. Not worth that to me either.

It was up to £10,100 earlier then it was wiped clean and they've now started bidding again.
I wouldn't touch that ad even if i wanted the plates, something's very dodgy about the whole thing.

I reckon the seller has sold it privately and has had someone stick a mega high bid in to outbid everyone else.

Why? He will have to pay eBay commission.

I would just cancel the auction.

not if the buyer never pays him ;) it will likely be a "new" account that has bought it so nothing is lost. I didnt know you could cancel an auction mid-way?

Yeh, you can cancel mid way, but not in the last 12/24 hours, but then you only need say its lost, broken or stolen....all that legal binding stuff is a load of balls   :rolleyes

Looking at the buyers feedback number, it wasn't a new account.
