Hey up,
I think I am well and truly addicted t[size=78%]o modding my gen 1.  Just finished fitting an early r1 front end to compliment many other mods already completed over the years.[/size]
I am already thinking about the next thing to do as I just can't leave it alone!!
Anyway, I would love to see pics of any of your modded bikes to give me more ideas and reassurance that I am not alone with my brilliant addiction :D

Their are many many many things you can mod on a gen 1, most have already been done what you need to do is make it individual to you, that's what will make it special that's what will make it yours.
I looked a loads and found a few things that I thought hadn't been done or maybe they have who knows.
R1 forks have been done and I admit I was very close to doing them myself until a mate changed my mind and I ended up with

Very nice, a true do it all bike.
Got a multi gauge on mine, just have to work it out and set it up as something other than just a gear indicator.
