okay here's a question, changed my fzs600 to renthal ultra lows but they do strike the fairing at full lock
I have seen other fazers with low and medium renthals how do these match up to the originals?? and do they foul the fairing
is there a massive change in riding position??
I think it will fail an MOT if the bars hit the fairing any ideas

Can you loosen the bolts at the centre of the bars and rotate them back towards you a bit? should stop them touching the fairing. You'll need to adjust the switch gear and levers again though.

I've fitted them to all three of my boxeyes, two of them the bars touched, and one barely cleared.
You've got to roll the bars back slightly in the clamps, I also found that twisting the throttle tube mount round helped with clearance a bit.
It's certainly a close one, bit they've always passed the mot.

The angle of sweep on the superbike lows is significantly more than the ultra lows.. Renthal site i believe gives dimensions.. Trying a pair fazer thou bars on the boxeye. No holes to drill or lugs to file off and enough rearward sweep to put a wheelbarrow to shame :lol

cheers guys may be trying some low renthals in place of ultra lows
