Highlighting the errors of allowing satelite and cable tv to get a stronghold in society.
Life was so much easier with just the 3 or 4 terrestrial channels and tv licence.
Cheaper too :)

Probably not a good idea to link to a torrent on here - might land the forum in bother?

Just pay the £80 or so and watch it on MotoGP.com - good coverage, and if you go halfs with a friend it makes it even cheaper. Not a bad price for a full years racing. Just wish BSB offered something similar.

Well, I think if you find £80 too much to watch a season of top class racing, you ought to give up. Everyone expects everything for free FFS.

bt sport is £12 a month if u r a sky viewer. You can take it monthly , ie don't pay for months without moto gp in.

considering I pay £8 ish a month if not more for bike mags, its " reasonable" if there are two races in a month.

BSB will be on eurosport this year with more coverage than before, so that's  a good thing.

if u go to a circuit to watch a moto GP.....well that cost is another story entirely !!

sadly my thoughts are, as with new bike pricing , biking is well on the way to being a niche sport/ hobby.Intended more for the rich than the populace. Its a trend I have noticed since recession started in 2007.Look at the price of a new GSA bike...16K!

MotoGP.com Multiscreen is about £112 per year and has everything you could want and you cold even play it on your smartphone is necessary :)

Why should I pay to watch MotoGP when I can watch WSB & BSB ,TT etc for free? Do people have to pay to watch Wimbledon,Snooker etc?
"Motorcycling" is becoming a rich mans hobby as buying a new bike for £10-£15 thousand is only the start. These ultra-sophisticated machines require expensive workshop time for servicing with their complex electronic systems, then theres the cost of spares which is another rip-off-likewise "factory" accessories-Vehicle Excise Duty etc etc-it goes on & on. Have decided to ride more & forget Sunday afternoons watching Marquez,Pedrosa,Lorenzo circulating--its good but its not real world anymore!

You'll have to tell me about that deal! FREE!

Because the last time I checked you could only watch WSB/BSB highlights (not live) on terrestrial TV, and even then..... you have to pay a licence fee, so not exactly 'free'

Im already paying out over £900 a year for sky ! OK so I get the full package !   OR DID !
now if you want to watch the moto gp its another £144 ! I dont think so !

when is it going to start being all about racing instead all about money !

it wont be long before motogp moto 2 and moto 3 are forgotten about because the costs are just to much !

it will get to a point where so few people can watch it the price will go up to cover the costs

sorry but I wont pay any more than i already am !

You are right of course & I was forgetting my Virgin Media monthly payment-should have said-" See no reason to pay more than I am already doing"!

I'm not saying the cost of watching MotoGP is right in any way. But by people's reckoning it's equivalent of "why should I pay extra to put oil in my bike when I'm already paying for petrol" - it just doesn't make sense.

I pay for BT for the motogp and footy.  Its actually a good show for the motogp, full coverage and lots of banter/interviews etc.  Certain parts were a bit rough around the edges but yeah, much better than it was on Eurosport/BBC and not having Toby Moody name dropping/droning on is worth the fee on its own.

I have been using MotoGP.com for a few years, was sick of some crap commentators on Eurosport and BBC. Was also getting fed up of BBC showing it when it felt like it and losing out if there were delay on race day. It is relatively cheap between my 2 sons and I.
We connect the Laptop to the TV via HDMI lead and have access to the full 720p HD. :)

Well well,,Rossi has a montain to climb,,10th on the grid,,,now we saw Marquez last race drop to tenth and win,,But Rossi has to make a rocket start,,maybe 5th then work on them,,

He was second fastest on race tyres but only 10th fastest on soft qualifying tyres,,,not good

I'd watch it if I didn't have to put up with that arsehole of a commentator on the Itv4 highlight show Keith summit or other complete knob end.....I don't bother with motogp now thought I'd miss it but I don't, I've got plenty other motorsport to watch and for bikes u can't be wsbk's....closer racing

spoliers stop now if you havent seen it !

ok you will probably disagree but dispite it being a very exciting race ! to be honest it only really felt like a race when marquez was in front
Lorenzo did a fantastic job battling with him , but i just couldnt get away from the feeling marquez was following

as for rossi blimey ! tenth to third ! nice would have been great if he had been front trow at the start !

Marquez did the same in practice, followed him around and then had the 6 gear gearing changed,  he is certainly a very shrewd rider. I guess he was watching for Lorenzos strong and weak points because when he did overtake on the last lap he was able to prevent Lorenzo from doing anything.
All this thinking at over 100 MPH , the mind boggles.
