Title: Sunday 16th march
Post by: dazza on 10 March 2014, 03:31:09 pm
Hello Foccer's, am meeting up with Harry Hornby this Sunday for a little ride out. Am thinking A20 Maidstone towards Ashford, peeling off at the A252 towards Canterbury then maybe back through Ashford to Tenterden and following the twisties down to Rye. All subject to weather, so is anybody else up for a run out. Could do with a few hooligans tagging along so am thinking Kitcrazy and Exupnut. Would be nice to have Midden come along but he's developed a habbit of foccing off on his own.  :lol

Hello Foccer's, am meeting up with Harry Hornby this Sunday for a little ride out. Am thinking A20 Maidstone towards Ashford, peeling off at the A28 towards Canterbury then maybe back through Ashford to Tenterden and following the twisties down to Rye. All subject to weather, so is anybody else up for a run out. Could do with a few hooligans tagging along so am thinking Kitcrazy and Exupnut. Would be nice to have Midden come along but he's developed a habbit of foccing off on his own.  :lol
There's a dark stain about you.. Clearly not as white as your name would suggest  :rollin :rollin
I may well be up for getting left behind on this one too ;)

Are VFRs allowed out with us?  I've got a couple of friends with them, I was going to invite them too.  Same sort of standard as me, mainly commuting, certainly nowhere near Mr Rossi

I've not ridden as a group for well over a year now.

Nice one Punkstig, let's say Oakdeane @ 09.00. I can meet up with you HarryHornby and your friends @ Bobbing McDonalds and ride up to Oakdeane café together, let's say 08.30. Let me know if this time is good for you all.  Have made it a bit earlier as Harry has to be back for 13.00 but he can peel off wherever and whenever to appease the Missus. Starting to look like a plan. Just need to make peace with Exupnut.....You're not really a hooligan (much) :b

that's good for me  :)

Nice to see the ribbing about me needing to get back has started early, I'd expect nothing less!!  :b

Give us a road/junction/ postcode to meet
Title: Re: Sunday 16th march
Post by: dazza on 11 March 2014, 05:53:08 pm
Thought it might be better for you Punkstig to meet us at Oakdeane café,

Oakdene Cafe

Wrotham

Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 7RR

Last post was a little misleading, sorry, when I said "you" I meant HarryHornby as he is coming from Sittingbourne and is on route to OAKDEANE.
However, if it's better for anyone to meet at Bobbing McDonalds @ 08.30 then feel free. It's on the Sheppey way, just off Key street roundabout at the junction of the A2.  ME9 8RZ.

Better make it 09.30 then as we are going to have a fry up at the Tuck inn first, according to Midden the Oakdeane brekkie is shit. If you fancy a good fry up before we head out you could meet us at Bobbing 08.30 Punkstig. Does this work for you, what do you think ?

Thanks for the invite Midden.

Just to let you all know my house is now officially up for sale, I've had offers and I shall soon be moving to the village of Thorndon in Suffolk so all bike bimbles have been suspended until further notice as I need to get my shit together.

Next time out I'll be a SuFo instead of a Lofo.

Now looking forward to semi retirement and living the life of Riley.  :lol

We may as well all eat at oakdene then.  I can say in its favour the sausage was nice which makes up for the soggy fried slice and swimming rabbit pellet beans :)

Pretty big weekend for me, off to Bozboz's gaff by Brands to pick up the replacement T'cat front end, then as I can't be arsed to do the same journey twice in two days I'm off to me mates in Godalming to have a few beers, play pool and stay the night, ready to head back down to meet you smelly lot at oakdene at 9 tomorrow.

Came across this today, forgot I had it as must have sourced it when I was trying to sort suspension on Fen 1 Fazer 1000, which Alex solved by putting everything back to standard to see how I would cope, as previous owner had adjusted it for his weight and commuting and I found it didn't like me and country lanes!
It was so bad until he changed it I had to force myself to ride it, but afterwards, it was heaven, only the weight defeated me after two years :o
Hope it helps and doesn't confuse the issue even more
