Title: FZS600 tool kit
Post by: HarryHornby on 20 February 2014, 08:33:09 am
My new bike didn't come with the underseat tool kit.  I've had a look on fleabay and they are being sold for what seems to be silly money (20 quid plus).

I reckon I could make one up a lot cheaper than that, so, what do I need to include in it?

Spanners, what sizes??
Flat and phillips screwdriver
Allen keys?
I remember the old one had pliers
spark plug remover (which if I remember used the screwdriver for the handle)

Any idea?

OR.....anyone got a spare one for less than £20??  :)

Nah you are much better putting your own together
In the kit there is a spark plug socket and rear suspention key - do we really need those in the kit uness we are on a mega trip, yes we need them but keep them at home and if you are gonna do thant then you may as well also replace them with bigger and better.
If I remember there is only 3 sizes of allen key that are used on the bike so you dont need to carry a whole set.
Dont forget some cable ties in there
