On way to the Starbucks to do some college work and I filter between lane 2 and 3 to the front of stationary traffic. Two panda police cars in lane three, who it seems were not impressed as he tried to fight me for lane three, can't of seen a bike before. Further up the road a pelican crossing goes to red so I slow to keep crawling and he almost goes into the back of me, then I spot a spanner on the road and go to the right of it thinking ill miss it, nah Fuck it, stop swipe in the pocket and I filter away. Only a 12mm ratchet spanner! Going under the seat it is! (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/19/a9ahybyg.jpg)
Top it off I got 5 shots of espresso for the price of 4 :D

Result! And a ratchet one too :D
I was getting the mickey taken out of me at the pub the other day because when a mate passed me my jacket a whole load of nuts and bolts fell out of various pockets.
When asked " WTF!? " I explained that I find them on the road and collect them.
Apparently this is not normal behaviour.
But I bet I have a better spare nuts and bolts jar than the norms! :)

So what was the panda car doing while you was picking the spanner up?
-
You sir are much more flexible than me to be able to pick that up without getting off the bike...
-
Good observation skills and fine bike balance while picking up the spanner :thumbup , although I'm a little surprised you didn't pick it up on the move :) .
Nice to have the video to show clearly the whole event, just a pity you didn't do a wheelie away from the pandas :evil .

I once found a 3 foot long breaker bar. I use it for the car wheel nuts and for doing the bike chain.

I love my breaker bar, has saved me on numerous occasions
