Title: Main beam flash switch and carb rubbers
Post by: HarryHornby on 17 February 2014, 07:39:18 am
Just picked up my new Fazer and noticed that the "flash" switch, for the main beam doesn't work.  Is it easy to replace or do I need that whole unit on the handle bars that  it connects into?

Also, carb rubbers are in a right state, easy to replace or a garage job?  I'm no mechanic, I will happily change oil, balance carbs (badly LOL) adjust chain, I've done the rear pads once but it took ages.

Cheers

BINGO!  good old WD40!  :)   thanks for the advice.

One thing I've noticed about the bike after testing the main beam, I HAVE TWO HEADLIGHTS!!!!!  whooop whooop!  Looks like it's had the headlight mod done!  :)
