im running Avon storm ultra
AV55 front
AV56 rear
any recommendation as to the tyre pressures i should be using,as 42/43 psi sounds way to hard to me (off the side wall guide)
cheers chaps. :)

36 front
42 rear
Give it a try 8)

I run 36 / 42 on a 600 fazer.
-
I run 34/39 on the 1000, have done for years and years n years n years.
-
I run 34 front 38 rear.
-
36 Front
41 Rear
That's what i was told when I was changing to PR3's, is it not tyre dependent though?

There should be a sticker on your chain guard telling you the pressures.
-
Never was on mine...
-
32/36 if under 90Kgs (thanks Mr Yamaha!)
-
I'm 100kg but if i went anywhere near 32/36 the bike would go into a wobbly shock!
36/40 is good for me now, i found 42 on the rear a tad too hard.

I'm running 32/36 on my 600 (Storm 2 Ultra) and ride all year round.
If you go to the Avon website, they give recommended pressures for each tyre/bike.

Depends on weight load, there's no way i could ride on those pressures. (32/36)

Mine was around 36, 42 when I got it, but I only weigh about 60kg's, and it was really twitchy when I went over white lines, I'm happily at 33, 37 now.

I used 34/40psi, and I'm 85kg in my birthday suit :eek. Handled really well for me. I even put about 40-50kg of luggage on the bike with those pressures with no bother.
Tried lowering the rear pressure a few times, but it wasn't right for me, a bit too wallowy when cranked over.
