Title: Forks bit sticky

When pulling up at the lights then releasing front brake lever sometimes a second or two later (stationary) the forks lift up a tad.
My lack of fork knowledge only leaves me guessing  :rolleyes
Gen 1 Thou 72,000kms bought 1 year ago.
Any advice/suggestions appreciated!

Does this happen just after you put your feet down thus easing the weight on the bike - not that I'm suggesting that you are unduly large just that there is a reaction to weight change....Newtonian physics and all that.

Raising 1 or 2 seconds after feet down when all else is still. Never done fork oil change could be time to learn how

At that age/mileage, if they've not been regularly overhauled and had a few oil changes between times, chances are high that the fork internals are shot.  Sorry, but this thread will tell you more:
