More importantly, can we put the menu back at the top of the screen because now it's shoved everything over to the right so I have to keep scrolling horizontally to see the posts.

Yes,I like it better too, a coloured background is better than white and I like blue (even though it's a bit slow :b )

just need to sort the spacing/formatting - big gap on the left and every pic gets squeezed with a scroll bar. (see photo comp)

so you probably guessed - bah humbug.

doesn't work great with a Mac and firefox although looks festive. RHS menu bar overlaps the top menu bar and can't see white text on the white hills

I agree it looks great but everything is squished, or is it because i'm on a mac, but it was ok before.

I have a wide screen pc and the front page has overwritten itself to the point of being unintelligible (I suspect this is why the photo comp scores display weird on my machine also)

Aha, I know what's wrong, you just need to add a message that says "Best viewed by going round to the Admin's house and viewing it on his computer because it looks fine there!" :pokefun

Go to the front page and pick 'Curve' from the theme select box. Remember to tick the "Permanently" option.

:rollin

Grahamm, in this context 'permanently' means from now until you next change it. Not ticking it is a way of quickly checking out a different theme. If Permanently is not ticked then the theme will, as you say, go back to what it was before.

Ah well, what I have found is a way of not using the annoying Xmas theme that screws up the page layout :)
