Ok...ok.... We will RIDE .. up to market harborough.... (ffs) lol
pork pies :b count me in :)Hey we could join forces.
Sounds good chris... 100 mile RIDE is fine...dont wanna upset Midden... Lol.... Post up the route....That you don't, there's been enough water falling lately without me adding to it by :'(
So, 100 miles to Market Harborough, 100 miles zooming about, 100 miles back home. Gonna be a long day! Definitely dependent on weather, don't fancy doing that distance if it's pissing down.Damn, already committed to another ride that day, must say not keen on the first and last bit, but the middle bit sounds perfect, sounds like beam me up Scottie! :'(

I'm not certain about this one... I'll see how I feel closer to the dateBring out the shredded wheat, it was a big gap Roy left ;)
If that's a reference to something it has gone completely over my head... or its way beyond my years... or both.Probably an age thing ;)
I'm so confused :'(Clearly so am I lol I always thought Roy of the rovers was Bristol Rovers but seems he played for Melchester rovers. Kind of ruined that one :rolleyes :o

Just the mind numbing tyre squaring off bit there and back to overcome :rolleyes
Hope fully this works and shows the route I had in mind.

The day could be historical. For on this day the middle earth people rode with the lofo's to create the FAT FOCCERS:lol
Right can we stop talking about food you're making me hungry,
some questions about Sunday what time do we plan to meet at jct 20 of the M1 and is there going to be a mass LoFo ride up and where are we meeting?????
I'd rather have some non-motorway time rather than all M25/M1.

Stop talking about food? Never! :lol Just picture those lovely burgers, dripping in fat and ketchup, onions falling out down your jacket :b
As well as meeting times, where is there for us all to park up at J20 M1? A layby, service station, what?
Chris, I think you meant to say turn WEST off M1, what time shall we meet 11am/12? if we LoFos meet at 9 (wherever we meet) that gives us 2 hours to get to you and just enough non-motorway playtime.
Any other LoFos like to make any suggestions?

Just spoken to Exup and with heavy rain due on the route of the ride before it would be completed. It is looking like the best idea is to post pone till next weekend.
I'm working next week to Lez. Perhaps if next weeks ride is a success it can be repeated in the summer and on the shift workers schedule ;)
Yup... And noggy can show us how to spit roast a sheep lol

It is looking like the best idea is to post pone till next weekend.:( Shame as it was so lovely yesterday, may be able to do next weekend, will check date, out today down to Rye, recommend Rye Harbour cafe as opposed to the "normal" one, good parking and food divine, freshly cooked and very reasonable. Then off to Bexhill to see an elderly relative (well, older than me! lol) so hoping not too wet, as will drip all over the carpet. :thumbup
Clearly, Exup wants to be shown how to shag sheep... Is he secretly Welsh? :P :lolCan always trust the French to lower the tone :rolleyes
Nothing in Kent today either, little spit on the way back from Leysdown but nothing like what was forecast. Think it's gonna hit us later than predicted.Absolutely right, chucking it down big time at 9pm. Managed a dry run to Rye Harbour Cafe, but tide came in very fast and had to move bikes so they didn't get swamped. Marks on cafe door show how high it came at Christmas, so wasn't going to chance it.
must be the only happy lofo on here, could`nt do today....can do next week though :D :D :D :D :D :DNot sure that I can, as now promised to have both grandsons Sat night then take them sand racing at Margate the following day, but yungest has gone down with a bug today, so will wait & see, forecast is brilliant for weekend, though gritters were out tonight! :eek
The weather for this Sunday, well it sounds like waiting a week was a good move. There should be a high pressure weather zone over the country, making it dry with temperatures in the teens.
Marina has an FZS? Why did she pick the slowest colour?!? :lol :lolFighting talk!! :D
Now I'm proper pissed off :-(
Now I'm proper pissed off :-(
There's a strong chance I could make it to this one, to make my Foccer Rideout debut!
Is the route still the same?
11:30 @ LE17 4BP??
I'm soon moving to Germany, so I'm pretty pleased I might get to come along once before I'm 'stranded' in europe!
An invasion of Foccers to my territory is something not to be missed (despite the rugby) so count me in. I know the route well and it's a good one with some nervy bends to catch out the unsuspecting and a wicked hairpin outside Uppingham .
I'll be on my VFR (hope that's not a lynching offence still) as a cager took away my Gen 1.
Look forward to meeting you all tomorrow. :lol
Hi I ve never known the Foccers get to fussy over what your riding. If you know the route better than me it could be worth you leading parts of it and I ll play tail end Charlie. I look forward to meeting you.
You will spot me as I m on a Hornet. :\

Im in and as before can meet you all at the Mc donalds roundabout at Mkt Harb at say 11.30 I do know the road to Melton ( I call it riding the snake ) but dont know the bit after Melton
See you here
very nice mate shame about the old thou next to it :lol
Despite my initial uncertainty with this, I'm in :)11.30 i think,,turn off at j20 ,travel lodge just off the roundabout with the plane ornament in the middle.A4303
I'll be aiming to meet the Lofo's at their stop in Lutterworth (J20 M1 right?) for around 11.00 - the same time they are aiming to arrive
I don't think anyone else from the South West is heading up, but if you are, I'm happy to join a convoy ^^ Not entirely sure which route I'm going to take yet :\
Red, I am meeting up with Kitcrazy, Blackheath @ 08.00. We are then going to meet up with Kitcrazy's bro in law on the 413 Aylesbury @ 09.30. I don't know that area too well so best to arrange a meeting place now and perhaps exchange numbers if were gonna meet for the ride up. And where's MIDDEN, thought he was coming ?
will we be able to park there red?theres a mcd's there as well?
Could we stick to the ride out info :)
think midden will have just started he's shift.hopefully he will get he's head down for a few hours and come play.I'll more than likely head up M1 straight from work (subject to tired factor) and hopefully doss down couple hrs before meet. Look out for the shivering tramp, I'll have nicked his cardboard ;)
I'll have Jaeger Schnitzel, chips and mayo please :b
Whereabouts in Germany are you headed apage? Doing what?
Ja! Ja! Alles Gut chaps!
I'll keep the Bratwurst under wraps fo now though thanks!!I'll have Jaeger Schnitzel, chips and mayo please :b

SWMBO is a Fraulein, so I'm taking the plunge and moving in with her. Whole new world of challenges and decisions to make over whether to modify and register the current bike over there, or sell up and get a German one... Just don't know!
In any case, I'm in. See you tomorrow Foccers!
Also, I'll be rocking the old Helmet Camera, so hoping for some good Foccer Footage for Youtube!
Anybody want faces/reg plates/shit riding pixelated, just let me know!!
Hi all. I've been looking forward to this for weeks like a fly on roadkill. But yesterday and today has proven that I am infected with germs of the worst kind from my virulent 4yr old.
I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy never mind any Foccers so I'm going to bow out :-(.
Have fun peeps, the roads and route is awesome and goes right past my house :-(
I'll be thinking of ya all. If anyone wants to risk it and pop by for a cuppa PM me and we'll arrange something.
Take care and keep it shiny side up.
Unlucky Simon, give us a wave as we pass! :D

This is becoming a habit :'(:lol WTF, happened there, I thought we arranged to pick up the M1 first, then hit the A5, dropping back onto the M1 nearer London. When you went straight on I thought you're gonna get a complex. :lol Anyway, I'm back home safe and sound 424 miles covered today. Thanks to those responsible for planning the route, fantastic roads and an epic day. :thumbup
No follow chris to the M1 which is where we pick up the A5 and follow through all the way then end on M1 M25. I came back on to M1 but you were gone lolThis is becoming a habit :'(:lol WTF, happened there, I thought we arranged to pick up the M1 first, then hit the A5, dropping back onto the M1 nearer London. Your first pic of the bikes made me smile, Fazersharp: I'm nicking that red bike's rear end for Project Fazer! :lol :lolAnother good bike you want to foc up then
Had a GREAT day, thanks chaps!
Amazing weather, logs of bikes.
I was slower than most, a little faster than...um...no-one!
Really sorry to have captured Fazersharp's 'Mishap' on full HD video. I'll try my best not to show everybody Fazersharp. But my will power is pathetic!
Thanks again chaps!
