It depends which direction everyone comes from, personally I was thinking of meeting up at a services on the M40, sounds strange but it's a much nicer motorway than the M1!I'm free, we gonna show em what the lofo's think of a mere few hundred miles!?Working on getting the night off and if so I'm up for the crack. I had a look at the route on google M1 on to M6. But all though it adds an hour to the journey, I would do the shortest run up the M1 to J9 and then get on the A5 and follow it all the way to the A41 and turn right onto that and follow it all the way to the cafe. If I can make it I could meet people on the A5 near the M42.

But we can work all that out closer to the time
A5 is a pretty shite road, if peeps want to do A roads then it would be a meet up at Oxford and then the run I did for the lofo's up to Stratford, I know the back road route up to Bromsgrove from Oxford after that I'd have to look it up!It depends which direction everyone comes from, personally I was thinking of meeting up at a services on the M40, sounds strange but it's a much nicer motorway than the M1!I'm free, we gonna show em what the lofo's think of a mere few hundred miles!?Working on getting the night off and if so I'm up for the crack. But the way chris was talking it's only a short distance of the M1, to jct9 (26miles from jct 1 or 9.8miles if entering M1 from m25) and then A roads rest of the way which has to be better ride than either motorways...........But I don't mind, either way it's a craic :)
Penciled in so fingers crossed for warm and dry , well ok dryí
Christo is good at making those type of mini member maps isn't he?
will try to add welling.Try hard :)
A trek for you Justin, but thereso be prepared for a mega queue for a brew and a butty judging by the attendees on that day and the size of the cafe! Flask n a packed lunch for me l think :)

Just had a look at the map and it looks like this is less than 70 miles from my Dad's in Credenhill. So, if I take the bike down I may well be up for this on Sunday. Need to appease a few people first and would like to hook up with some Foccer's local to that area to ride up with... Any takers ?

For focs sake don't take Neil via cafes, you'll never get here :lol
I did it last weekend - a great road but don't expect to be hacking round the twisties, it seems to get very busy with general tourists on a Sunday. But the views are great and the cafe's a goodun.
Wondering how many of you guys will tag along with the north west lot then or if your going back south via wales instead
so Raven cafe for meetup then and excuse for a ride on the Welsh roads,,may even have an oppertunity for Nick to have his photo taken AGAIN :lol
Just a reminder, meeting point is the shell garage at m6 junction 23 (the m6/a580 intersection).
Will be wanting to leave here around 0930am so if you coming be there before then please.
Since the Lynn Raven Café out of reach from Cork.

What a blinding day !! 417 miles, 14 hours in the saddle ( apart from feeding and smoking breaks ) and some cracking roads. Thanks to Mr Willy for leading, it's not always easy being upfront so much appreciated. Big thanks to all you crazy Foccers for an EPIC day
Parted with midden and kitcrazy at Chipping Norton, think they should get home some time after 9pm - kudos to them for covering that distance.
Lynn Raven Cafe Meet |
I'm not complaining about me in the photo, just that it's a bit far zoomed out compared to the others he took :P The scenery is more of the focus than me hahaNot exactly worthy of a tenner that's for sure.
