hi i have a 2001 fzs1000 and am thinking of fitting a gearshift light , has anyone fitted one to there bike, and are they easy to fit ,thanks dougie.

If your meaning a gear position indicator, I put the acumen dg8 on mine with a plug n play loom. doesn't take long to fit just plug in the back of your speedo and find somewhere to mount the little display.

I also have a acumen dg8 I found it the better one you need the right kit for the loom complete set up on fleebay you need to put bike on centre stand as need to go through the gears to set it up very easy my mate bought a different make and keeps flashing after 70 mph.
