Title: 2006 or 2007?

Hi folks. :)
Recently bought myself a lovely 2007 57 plate FZ1N Silver with a Blue frame and swing arm.
It maybe a 2006 model, is there anyway to tell? Were certain colours only produced for certain model years?
The Vin number does not seem to be much help  JYARN165000002438.
Just a bit curious to find out. Any help appreciated.

Mine is registered 57 , its from the American market i think,,,these have the date stamp very clear on the frame plate = "2007"

Been in touch with Yamaha technical department.
It is as I suspected a 2006 model year bike.
No problem ...that will make it the most powerful one then before they tried to smooth the injection out :evil  hehe. :D

It's got a lighter crank then I think, and spins up faster. An fce should benefit you more than most mate..
