I signed it when Yammi first posted but forgot to say so...

Thankfully bikes are actually allowed in the majority of bus lanes around where I live already :)

Luckily, the bus lanes near me are generally bike+taxi lanes as well.  I do occasionally get caught out though when they change from taxi+bike to just bus all of a sudden, with no real warning :/

It's allowed in Spain. It is good, but if gets approved be careful with cages cutting into the lane when they are turning 90 degrees at junctions. They are used to slow buses and taxis and do not look at the mirrors or indicate often.
