Hi all.
first timer here ,been very happy with my gen 1 since I got it earlier on in the year but noticed of late that the headlamps mist up inside (not got it wet ) anyone had anything similar ?(feel free to pull the newbies chain)

Make sure your rubber rings at the back are sealed properly.
To solve the problem get hold of some silica beads (you usually get packs in new trainers, or eBay), and lace them inside the seal somewhere to absorb the excess moisture, which will help dry them out initially.

Plain old rice (uncooked) does a pretty good job of removing the moisture - but you do have to fix the seal. I stuck a bag of "boil in the bag" behind the cars headlight unit and never had a problem since.

Not so.
If you fix the seal, the heat from the bulb will allow the water to evaporate, yes, but where is it to go if you sealed the leak? The point of silica gel/rice is to allow the evaporated water somewhere to absorb into, otherwise it would just. Condense again when you turned the lights back off.

Take off the rubber seal, remove the bulb and give it a good old dowse with talcom powder.
