Really want to get this speedo for my pretty sad looking bike. What would it take to install it? can it be hooked up to the current speedometer or would it be better to use a magnetic/active non-magnetic sensor? Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers AC

I fitted a Koso to my ZRX and it is pretty straight forward.
You may well be able to use the OE speedo drive as most of them use magnets. Try it and if it doesn't work get the speedo kit. Speak to the guy who owns Digital Speedos, he's very helpful.
You'll need the wiring diagram for the bike, otherwise it will be very difficult.

I'd been looking at these, but yeah speak to the guy, ask him if he knows anything about our speedo sensor and if it'll work with these clocks.
If he says about using the disc bolts as pickups for its own speedo sensor then ask if the clocks will show the error codes.
I'm currently running without the speedo on my bike, which is fine, but if you rev it close to the red line the system then registers there's no speedo and shows the 0-4000-0 error codes which only resets when turning the bike off at the key!
Food for thought

I fitted one of his multi function Speedos to my old R1. It was easy enough, but I used the magnet Speedo because once you measure the wheel circumference it's very accurate!
The guy who runs this is a bit of a guru, and helped me when I got stuck. Go for it!(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/25/ydu9uqeh.jpg)
